Outside Magazine is an American publication which is entirely devoted to the great outdoors. The first issue debuted in September 1977 and its mission statement declared that the publication was ‘dedicated to covering the people, sports and activities, politics, art, literature, and hardware of the outdoors’. If you love to climb, hike, and surf or indeed do any other activity outdoors then the chances are that Outside will feature it in this magazine.
